September12th ABC to broadcast live from George Strait's San Antonio hurricane benefit show

San Antonio country superstar George Strait will join five TV networks as part of a star-studded hurricane relief telethon aiding victims in Texas.

The one-hour event, “Hand in Hand: A Benefit for Hurricane Harvey Relief,” will be based in Los Angeles with stages in New York and Nashville and a performance from San Antonio by Strait, who will be staging a benefit concert at the Majestic Theatre.

The show will air live on ABC, CBS, CMT, FOX and NBC at 7 p.m. Sept. 12. It also will be available internationally via live stream on Facebook and Twitter.
