BLOGGERS BEWARE WHEN USING GOOGLE IMAGES

I USED A THANKSGIVING Google Image that was NOT marked as a stock photo nor any indications it had a copyright.

In April I received a letter from a Higbee And Associates a California Attorney informing me I had infringed on a copyright image owned by Adlife Marketing & Communication Company.  Informing me to remove all images within five business days, WHICH I DID. They also wanted a $2,500.00 dollars payment within 10 days, which I did not do.

The photo was used on a November 26, 2014 post. I removed the photo when I got the notice and apologized for using the photo and that It had been removed.

On September 11, 2017 I received another informing me they were suing me. Again asking for $2,500.00 The matter has been forwarded to my attorney.
