Bozell: Clinton Should Apologize For Calling Police Racist
When asked at the first Presidential debate if police are implicitly biased against black people, Clinton said she believed that “implicit bias is a problem for everyone, not just police.” Later in the evening she criticized “systemic racism in our criminal justice system.”At a time when police officers in cities such as Dallas and Baton Rouge are being killed and tension between law enforcement and minority communities continues to swell in cities such as Charlotte, David Bozell, President of ForAmerica believes that Hillary Clinton should apologize for her remarks:
When it comes to the race card, the Clinton campaign has overplayed their hand. Welcome to Hillary’s America, a place where the men and women who put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe are considered bigots and racists. The Democratic nominee for President should apologize for the promoting divisive racial politics of the last eight years and for accusing our nation’s law enforcement officers of racism.
