Setting a tone portraying a side of Donald J. Trump not usually covered in
the media, his wife Melania, delivered a wonderful endorsement of her husband's
candidacy. Considering that she was delivering her speech in a language that
wasn't her native tongue and had become a legalized citizen 20 years ago, Mrs.
Trump's presentation added credence to everything that Trump has been standing
for in terms of immigration.
Mrs. Trump is a stunningly beautiful woman who's love of family flowed
naturally. She highlighted her concern that as the nation's First Lady she
wanted to deal with families and children, to bring the country together
regardless of faith or ethnicity and to heal the divisions which tear at our
natural fabric through love emanating from family. She followed ip on the theme
of developing one America.
Other dynamic speakers included Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions, former
Texas Governor Rick Perry and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani who
supplemented cases of missteps highlighted by the presenters discussing a
foreign policy which too many demonstratef a pattern of miscues. Following the
agenda of the day which included credentials, a contentious vote on the rules of
the party, and sanctioning of the party's platform some might question how Unity
is possible for Republicans; however listening to Trump's wife and others, it is
evident that the only alternative for the nation and the party was Trump, Trump,
Trump.
