My name is Sheila Healy and today is my first day as Executive Director of the Arizona Democratic Party!
I am thrilled to be in Arizona and I can’t wait to get started in turning Arizona blue! We have some great opportunities in Arizona for the 2016 election, starting with defeating John McCain in the US Senate race.
We have a lot of work to do to realize these opportunities so I am going to need your help. I have some proven ideas for things that Democrats in Arizona can do to help achieve our goals, but I want to hear from you as well.
In the 2014 election cycle I was the Coordinated Campaign Director for the Texas Democratic Party. Before that I worked for both of President Obama’s campaigns, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and key races throughout the country. I am so excited to begin working with our coalition of Arizona Democrats to increase voter turnout, test new methods of reaching out to voters and implement an effective, expansive, and data-driven ground game.
Whether it’s a school board election in Sierra Vista or a Congressional race in Flagstaff, we will be supporting Democrats in all of Arizona!
