I ran for Congress to help our economy by creating jobs and helping our
workforce.
That’s why I’m voting no on Fast Track trade legislation currently being considered by the House.
There’s no doubt that free trade can be beneficial. But the Trans Pacific Partnership has been negotiated secretly, and could have serious consequences for our economy.
This deal will endanger American jobs at home,
impose unsafe environmental and safety standards, and support companies that pay
workers abroad low wages.
Our middle class is currently in a fragile state, and shipping thousands of manufacturing jobs abroad will continue to expand income inequality in our country.
That’s why I’m voting no on Fast Track.
But -- I need your help. Sign my petition to reject Fast Track >>
Not only would this deal hurt our economy, but it strips Congress of its authority to monitor this and future trade deals.

This will lead the way to more agreements that promote
outsourcing jobs in the future. Workers in Arizona and around the country
deserve better.
We need to protect workers both here and abroad. Please sign the petition to oppose Fast Track legislation >>
Thanks,
