SCOTUS Decision Against EPA Michigan Wins

The Supreme Court ruled Monday against the Obama administration's attempt to limit power plant emissions of mercury and other air pollutants.

The Supreme Court has dealt a significant blow to a major Obama administration rule that limits the amount of mercury and other hazardous pollutants from power plants, ruling 5-4 today that EPA erred while writing the rule.

The rule has already pushed dozens of coal-fired power plants into retirement, and has been criticized by fossil fuel advocates as a key part of the administration's "war on coal."
