Report-Drug Enforcement Agency-Prostitutes and Sex Parties Money Provided by Drug Cartel

According to a new Department of Justice inspector general report, Drug Enforcement Agency officials held “sex parties” with prostitutes in Colombia who were hired by drug cartels.
Agents received “protection for the DEA agents’ weapons and property during the parties” from Colombian police officers, the report says. The “loud” parties took place in “government-leased quarters” from August 2005 to December 2008. According to the report, the agents “should have known the prostitutes in attendance were paid with cartel funds.”

In addition, the report says, the foreign officers “further alleged that in addition to soliciting prostitutes, three DEA SSAs in particular were provided money, expensive gifts, and weapons from drug cartel members.”
