Ask Your Arizona Legislators to Vote No on HB2190

The Arizona House of Representatives is hearing House Bill 2190 on Monday - a bill that would prohibit the use of our current academic standards and require teachers to go back to our standards from 5 years ago.

This weekend the legislature voted to pass a state budget that cuts funding for Arizona's schools. Our educators and students need our support now more than ever. There's still something you can do to help.

This bill would harm student achievement and waste precious time and resources. It would also roll back all of the progress our teachers and students have made implementing higher academic standards over the past four years.

The bill is being heard on Monday and we need your help. Will you send a quick note to your Representatives to ask them to vote no on the bill? Our legislators need to hear a loud message from us that we support higher standards for Arizona's students and that HB2190 would take us backwards.
