Jerome Hudson is a 24-year-old student of history, majoring in broadcast journalism, in Tallahassee, FL. He was born Savannah, GA . Jerome has been published nationally by Human Events and has been called a “rising star” by nationally syndicated talk show host Dennis Prager. He has interned Tallahassee radio station. Jerome first received acclaim after the publication of his article "The Life of a Young Black Conservative," which was picked up and featured in July 2009 as the top story on GlennBeck.com. In Nov. 2009 and Jan. 2010 as a featured audience guest on "Time to Be Heard: Content of Character," Glenn Beck’s television special on Black Conservatives in America.
Claude Mattox, 56, began his first 4-year term on the Phoenix City Council on Jan. 3, 2000. He iscurrently serving his 3rd term as Phoenix District 5 Councilman. He was vice mayor in 2002.
He was selected for the prestigious "2010 Best of the West Chairman's Award" for his community leadership by WESTMARC.
Phoenix District 5, includes west and central Phoenix with landmarks such as Cricket Wireless Pavilion; the Maryvale Baseball Stadium, spring training home to the Milwaukee Brewers; the new Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox spring baseball complex at Camelback Ranch and Grand Canyon University.
Claude Mattox has been active in the west Phoenix community for 30 years. He is vice president for National Western Vistas Real Estate. Mattox and his wife, Sherri, have lived in west Phoenix since 1979.
He is an avid musician and is a member of the local group, Screamin' Javalenas, which plays at various charity functions.
