GUEST: Diane Cohen, We will be discussing Goldwater Institute lawsuit on the Healthcare Bill ,it is one part of the bill that specifies it can't be repealed, the creation of the Independent Payment Advisory Board, which controls costs.
Diane Cohen is an attorney with Goldwater’s Scharf-Norton Center for Constitutional Litigation. Diane spent more than ten years as a trial attorney for the City of Chicago Corporation Counsel’s office, where she represented the Chicago Police and Fire Departments, handling a variety of constitutional and civil rights cases. Prior to working for the City of Chicago, she served as legal counsel to State of Illinois Comptroller Loleta Didrickson and as counsel to United States Senator Charles Grassley on the Senate Judiciary Committee. Diane began her legal career as an attorney for the US Department of Justice and has also worked as an associate in private practice. Diane received her JD and BA from Washington University in St. Louis. #
