Was Calderon's Criticism of Arizona Immigration Law Appropriate?
Not a snowball's chance in hell do I believe Calderon should be allowed to chastise America when he's here begging for money. Apologizer in Chief stands by not only lets him but agrees. be
Congressman Michael McCaul, Texas Insider Report Friday May 14th the FAA gave final approval for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to patrol a portion of the Texas-Mexico border in the Big Bend region. The addition of a drone is a major step forward in securing our border with Mexico. The drones will allow us to patrol areas that are difficult to access on the ground.
I look forward to further authorization for drones to be used along the rest of the border all the way to the Gulf Coast. While this represents progress, I will continue to fight to expedite surveillance technology, and for additional federal agents and the use of National Guard troops along the border.
The drone approval came one day after myself and my fellow Ranking Members on the Homeland Security Committee met with Secretary Napolitano and I appreciate the swift action by the administration to push this through.
I look forward to further discussing our border security with President Calderon when he visits the White House this week.
How will drones be able to stop the violence, sure it can pinpoint a location and take a picture? The use of drones will help law enforcement patrol the border more effectively.. That is a big problem the real conservatives have with the GOP.
Build the fence and push for it. All Democrats are trying to do is acquire a new voting populace. He has no intention of enforcing existing laws. And Calderon is NOT on our side. What has he done to take care of his own populace? What has he done to create jobs, REALLY fight the corruption? I call BS and if you really represent us, you will too. You guys need to get over the nice. It's Guerilla Warfare time.
How will drones stop the Anchor Babies? AT Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, Texas is home to the second busiest maternity ward in the country with almost 16,000 new babies arriving each year. (That’s almost 44 per day — every day) A recent patient survey indicated that 70 percent of the women who gave birth at Parkland in the first three months of 2006 were illegal immigrants.’ Crikey, that’s 11,200 anchor babies born every year just in Dallas. According to the article, the hospital spent $70.7 million delivering 15,938 babies in 2004 but managed to end up with almost $8 million dollars in surplus funding. Medicaid kicked in $34.5 million, Dallas County taxpayers kicked in $31.3 million and the feds tossed in another $9.5 million.
