Endorse Tracy Livingston for Superintendent of Public Instruction
Phoenix, AZ - Arizona State Senator Debbie Lesko (LD-21) and Arizona State
Representative Kevin Payne (LD-21) today endorsed Tracy Livingston for
Superintendent of Public Instruction.
Tracy Livingston is an 16-year veteran of public school classrooms who has focused her
career on educating some of the most underprivileged and vulnerable children in our
state.
Sen. Lesko said “
I'm supporting Tracy Livingston for Superintendent! Tracy's
experience as a teacher, community college school board member, and former Peoria
School board member demonstrate that she is uniquely qualified to champion real
reforms that will empower teachers, students and parents. “
Rep. Payne joined in, adding "Instead of electing more politicians to the office of
Superintendent, let's elect a real teacher! I'm supporting Tracy Livingston who has
more than 16 years experience in the classroom. She knows what needs to be done
and she'll fight for teachers, parents and our kids!
"
In addition to Lesko and Payne, Tracy Livingston has also secured endorsements from
Representatives Paul Boyer, Todd Clodfelter, Drew John, and Vince Leach, as well as
City Councilman Sal DiCiccio.
"I am excited at the momentum we are gaining in this race," said Tracy Livingston, "we
have spent the last few months crossing the state and earning the support of hundreds
of energized Arizonans who are ready to replace Diane Douglas’ failed leadership with
a teacher who knows what needs to be done to improve our schools."
