Phoenix – The latest voter registration figures have been released and according to Secretary of State Michele Reagan, the number of registered voters is 3,636,504, a decrease of 9,618 since the last report in January.

“Our counties do a great job to ensure the integrity of our voter registration lists is current and up-to-date,” said Secretary Reagan.  “This decrease in enrollment is a common result after each election cycle.”

Of the state's 3.6 million voters, 1,259,406 are Republicans, 1,102,169 are Democrats and 1,235,911 have not designated an officially recognized party preference.  Libertarians and members of the Green party make up a little less than one percent of the state’s total registration.
