Hacks Compromise 22.1 Million People
Sensitive information on 22.1 million people was stolen (WaPo) in cybersecurity breaches on U.S. government personnel databases, according to the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. The number far exceeds an earlier estimate of 4.2 million people. Authorities have yet to attribute the hack, but officials suspect China may be responsible.
