Bruce Jenner told the world we would be meeting his new persona soon — and now, she's here. He won the gold medal in the decathlon at the 1976 Summer Olympics held in Montreal.
Meet Caitlyn Jenner. The woman blazing a trail for transgender rights has introduced herself on the new cover ofVanity Fair — and she looks positively stunning. Photographer Annie Leibovitz did the shoot in Jenner's Malibu residence.
The piece is the first time Jenner is using her chosen female name and feminine gender pronouns. In the piece, she shares her reasoning behind coming out. "If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, 'You just blew your entire life,'" Jenner said.
