OBAMA THROWS DOWN GAUNTLET TO SUPREME COURT JUSTICES...
Issuing a warning that to reject an unconstitutional healthcare law would be "Judicial Activism". The audacity of Obama is that it's not normal for presidents to get into direct verbal confrontations with the Supreme Court, so he did it the wussy way through the media. Justices declined to comment.

Obama's attempt to intimidate the Justice's (referring to them as un-elected) may fall on deaf  ears if they intend to abide by the Constitution they were sworn to uphold.

The "Affordable Care Act" or "Obamacare," the 2700 page bill to expand health insurance was passed in the dead of night without being read. Over the protest of millions of Americans. Is considered Obama's signature domestic policy achievement.

For the Supreme Court to reject all or part of the bill would be a blow to Obama. It would validate what the majority of Americans have deemed to be the biggest step toward socialized medicine and a leap to a socialist nation.

The Republican controlled have without fanfare from the media been presenting bills to repeal the most heinous parts of  the bill. i.e. IBAP, Independent Payment Advisory Board or IPAB, has the dubious distinction of being one of the absolute worst provisions in the entire healthcare bill. Plus the mandate that you must buy healthcare. If the supreme court upholds the mandate, what else will government force you to buy?  The law, which once fully implemented will require Americans to have health insurance or pay a penalty, was an overreach by Obama and the Congress that passed it.

The Obama  advisory team  say they have not prepared contingency plans if the measure fails. But the president -- who expressed confidence that the court would uphold the law -- made clear how he would address it on the campaign trail if the court strikes down the law.

At a news conference with the leaders of Canada and Mexico, "Ultimately, I am confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress."

Is Obama blowing smoke or does he believe his comments or sufficient to intimidate the Supreme Court Justices? be###
